Following a 32bit build of Wireshark 2.4.2 on Windows7 Enterprise 64bit, Wireshark runs OK, but none of the Help->Manual Pages will display. There are no warning/error messages displayed. The html pages are built, just not displayed. Does Wireshark post errors in a log file?

Can you confirm that this is a version of Wireshark you've built yourself, and then installed via the installer you built yourself?

Are the man page html files (e.g. wireshark.html) present in the same directory as the Wireshark binary?

If the files are present, do they display in your default browser if you open then from Explorer or "run" them from a command prompt?

I have built this myself. I have not installed it as I don't yet have nsis to build it with. the man html files are not in the same folder as the wireshark exe. Exe is in .\run\RelWithDebInfo. Man files are in .\Doc. If I move them into .\run\RelWithDebInfo\Doc then they are displayed. The files display correctly in my default browser.

Is this a problem with the build script, or should the man pages not display until installed.

The man pages will not be correctly linked until installed.
