I just downloaded the latest Wireshark on a computer that never had it before. I start it, and here's all I see in the Welcome to Wireshark window (I really would have liked to show you the screenshot, but this silly forum won't let me upload a file until I have 60 points! Yes, how does this work for newbies and screenshots??)

Adapter for loopback traffic capture
USBPcap1
USBPcap2

Trying either of the USBPcap interfaces I get errors:

"Data written to the pipe is neither in a supported pcap format nor in pcapng format."
And subsequently:
"Error by extcap pipe: ... Unknown option -- extcap-capture-filter"

I don't know what would be wrong with these pcap things, I only installed exactly what I was led to install by the Wireshark installer.

But to begin with, where are my basic ethernet interfaces?? My system is: Windows 10 Wireshark 3.2.2

Here's what ipconfig has to say about my system:

C:\Users\Sierra BioSystems>ipconfig

If you can include the output of wireshark -v or Help->About Wireshark that would help.

You seem to be one of those afflicted by npcap install issues.

There are a few similar questions on this site that newbies never seem to locate and the standard answer is to manually uninstall npcap and re-install with the latest version from their website.

As to the blocking of uploads, that's down to the spammers who continuously attempt to abuse the site. You can post your image on a public file share, e.g. Google Drive, DropBox etc. and post a link to it back here.
