Why do I keep getting "No Interfaces Found" when I start Wireshark up?

I have redownload wireshark multiple times and I keep getting a no interfaces found right below where it says "Capture a filter". I'm wondering how I can fix this issue since I am unable to do the labs in my class since I can't select and interface to use.
