How to disable IP DSCP name resolution?

asked 2020-06-02 14:28:08 +0000

Is there a way to only display the decimal value of the IP DSCP in a column? e.g. 46 resolves to "EF PHB" but I want to show "46" in the display column.

If you right click on the column header, there is an option for Resolve Names. Select this and it should turn off the resolution as displayed in the column. Funny, though, it seems to be one-way for me: I add the column, then select this and I get numbers. Selecting again does nothing - I guessed it would toggle. To get resolution to work again I have to remove the column and then add. Easy workaround, but not what I expected (on 3.2.3).

Well, that's completely broken. Note that "Resolve Names" doesn't have a check next to it, and selecting or unselecting it makes no difference as to whether it has a checkbox or not.

I.e., it's not working as a toggle menu item, even though the name suggests that it should. Please file a bug on the Wireshark Bugzilla.
