How can I reset my Gerrit Code Review username?

I've just created a username that has an @ in it.

This prevents me from finishing the Wireshark developer setup steps.

I've searched the settings menus in https://code.wireshark.org/review, but I can not find any way to either change the username or a way to delete the account.

Am I overlooking something? Or is there no way to fix this and the account is just ruined?

P.S. I have created an issue on the Gerrit registration process/interface/git-review here: Issue 10084.

How can I reset my Gerrit Code Review username?

I've just created a username that has an @ in it.

This prevents me from finishing the Wireshark developer setup steps.steps (git-review is unable to handle an @ in a username).

I've searched the settings menus in https://code.wireshark.org/review, but I can not find any way to either change the username or a way to delete the account.

Am I overlooking something? Or is there no way to fix this and the account is just ruined?

P.S. I have had created an issue on the Gerrit registration process/interface/git-review here: Issue 10084., which they promptly closed as 'Invalid' and referred me to git-review.

On git-review I found that someone had already created an issue regarding @ in usernames (2001886), with an apparent month old review for a fix (610577).

P.P.S. Alternatively, should I just bypass git-review when setting up Wireshark for development?

Edit:

Added references to git-review. Added link to the issue on git-review.
