Packets with Errors from HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g

A switchport on a Cisco switch is showing errors on the interface statistics page. HP Pro 8600 printer is connected to the port. If we clear the counters and move the printer to another port and replace the network cable, the errors move as well.

Questions: What would be considered a packet error? If the errors are CRC errors, would I be able to get them in the trace using the port span or they are gonna be dropped and will not be copied to the span?

Thanks
