The default Weather app by Microsoft in Windows 10 displays several rather annoying and blatantly lying ads. I wonder if it could be possible to monitor connections from this specific app to block such domains in the Windows Firewall or hosts file. But I cannot block all traffic because the app also receives weather information.
Is WireShark a tool which could help me here, maybe in cooperation with some tools in the SysInternals set or provided by WSCC?
