"unable to ste channel or offset" when switching WiFi channels

Hi,

When I switch from channel 1 to another channel (e.g 2 or 124 doesnt matter) I get the message ""unable to ste channel or offset" and it directly switches back to default channel 1. On channel 1 it captures packages, but I need the packages from another channel.

Can someone tell me what could be the reason and better what is the solution for this issue.

Specs: MacBook Pro (Big Sur 11.7.10) Wireshark Version 3.6.6 WiFi adapter TP-Link A600 (Archer 2TU)
