Is there a way to force Portable Wireshark for Windows from trying to locate local interfaces?

Even with "Don't Load Interfaces at Startup" checked it still seems to try and find the local interfaces. For some reason that has a 25-50% chance or rebooting my work laptop (nothing like lackluster Windows 10 drivers). Is there a command line option or some other way force Wireshark to skip the local interfaces entirely? I'm only using it to review packet captures taken from other systems. Using the latest portable Wireshark (4.0.8?).
