Strange dual stack behavior

Hi Sharks,

I use Manjaro and connect my PC through ethernet (enp3s0). The interface has both an ipv4 and ipv6 address. When using facebook messenger to video call, the connection is always very unstable on my side. The other side say they see me and hear me just fine. Zoom calls always work well however. I checked the messenger connection with Wireshark and found a behavior that seems strange to me. The host was sending the packets to the server over ipv6, while the server was replying with ipv4. After about 15 min of bad connection there are 4 ICMP packets with Destination unreachable.

Temporary solution: I removed the ipv6 address from the interface, thus only using ipv4, and the video calls are very good. However this setup is not ideal as I would like to keep both ipv4 and ipv6 on the interface.

Any ideas? Is this normal? Does anyone else experience this?

Thanks for any help.
