Confusion over current version

I use Software Update Monitor (SUMO) to check that Windows applications are up-to-date. Recently, SUMO reports that Wireshark 3.6.7 is current, but that several bundled apps have newer releases, specifically for Capinfos, Captype, Dumpcap, Editcap, Mergecap, Rawshark, Reordercap, Text2pcap, and TShark.

I understand that is the Development release and am happy to remain on the Stable release. The confusion is over what would cause SUMO to detect and report the new release for bundled programs but not report a new version for Wireshark itself.
