Kali Linux VirtualBox not capturing EAPOL packets

I have the network settings set to a bridged adapter connected to a TP-Link 802.11ac Network Adapter. It seems I can pick up packets from other devices so monitor mode should be active, I have imported the wpa-psk key into the IEEE (...) protocol section and even then I can not detect any EAPOL packets, I've tried forgetting the password on my phone and then re-entering it and even turning my router off and on but it still does not pick up anything.

During this I connect my samsung phone to the internet and nothing else really, I don't know if it will be useful but hey best provide everything I can even if its useless. (I've just uploaded it and there isn't a preview of it so I'll just assume it uploaded correctly, if it doesn't I'll try upload it to mega or something and edit if not comment the link)
