How to create and install new own plugin in wireshark for filtering CAN packets in Ubunutu 16.04LTS

I want to create a new plugin in wireshark which dissects the customized CAN data frame. Then need to load this new plugin into wireshark which is running on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
