issues with packet bytes pane - specifically the right side text view
I have a Metabox laptop and the I can view wireshark GUI fine on its screen.
However I extend my display to 2 Dell U2717D screens, which work perfectly fine for everything except this one unusual issue.
When I drag wireshark across to my extended displays the view is all normal except the right side (text view) of the packet bytes pane which is blank.
I have reinstalled Wireshark 3.02 and tried the older version 2.6.9, but the issue persists
I have reinstalled the monitor drivers, but the issue persists
I have called Dell and gone through with one of there technical support staff and the end result is a diagnosis of likely compatibility issue between wireshark and Dell.
HAs anyone come across a similar issue and/or is there a known fix?
Something similar was reported here, but there is no known fix or workaround.
