How to change menu font and icon size for 3.0.1

I just downloaded 3.0.1 on a Windows 10, 64-bit machine. The menu font size and the menu icons are so small I have a hard time reading/viewing them. When I click on a menu item the text in the drop down box is just as tiny.

I know how to change the font size in the packet window. It's the Wireshark UI that I need to change. I've tried changing screen resolution but that did not fix the issue.

Any help is appreciated.

Are the menu font size and icon sizes different on other applications running on your machine?

What type of display are you using?

I thought rebooting my PC solved the problem and submitted an answer. But after further review, it did not. I have removed that answer from the question.

I'm using two monitors, a laptop PC with a second (larger) monitor. When Wireshark is displayed on the laptop, the UI scales when I change the 'Scale and layout' setting on on the Control panel - System - Display page. When I move Wireshark to the secondary monitor and change the 'Scale and layout' setting the UI does not scale. I performed the same test with MS Word and the same scaling issue was present.

The secondary monitor is branded Westinghouse, but there isn't a label with a model number. (It was abandoned in a cube, so I scavenged it.) I'm going to try a different monitor and see if the issue persists.

I had this same problem in Wireshark 3.2.2. and I found the answer here:

Basically, you need to change the Properties of the application to change the DPI scaling to "System (Enhanced)". It made a huge difference on my display!
