Hi,

Iam trying to build the wireshark in my windows 7 machine with Qt 5.10.0 and Visual Studio community 2012 version.I followed the Win32/64: Step-by-Step Guide for setting up the environment.

Here generation of the build files is successful ,by giving the command cmake -DENABLE_CHM_GUIDES=on -G "Visual Studio 11 2012 Win64" ..\wireshark

As the next step ,building of the wireshark is tried ,by giving the command msbuild /m /p:Configuration=RelWithDebInfo Wireshark.sln

But the building of the files failed ,by giving the syntax errors as follows

   "C:\Development\wsbuild32\Wireshark.sln" (default target) (1) ->
   "C:\Development\wsbuild32\epan\ftypes\ftypes.vcxproj.metaproj" (default target) (29) ->

I don't think current versions will build with VS 2012 as they have C99 and C++11 requirements. If you must use VS2012, then you'll have to build older versions, i.e. 2.2.x, or if you want the current source then use VS 2015.
