Dear All, Monitor Mode on Win 10 with Wireshark 3.0 seems to work, but how can the channel/channel-width be configured. There's no WlanHelper.exe anymore? And there's no Wireless Toolbar anymore? Many thx. in advance ...

If you installed npcap, then WlanHelper.exe should be available in C:\Windows\System32\Npcap.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately there's no WlanHelper.exe anymore, and it's is also mentioned in the doc that there should be a way to configure the monitor mode settings within wireshark 3.0 now ...

On my system, WlanHelper.exe is installed in the directory I listed:

C:\Windows\System32\Npcap>WlanHelper.exe -h
WlanHelper for Npcap 0.99-r9 ( http://npcap.org )
Usage: WlanHelper [Commands]
or: WlanHelper {Interface Name or GUID} [Options]

Good morning, I tried again to remove and reinstall WS3.0 and NPACP twice , and (surprisingly) the Wlanhelper.exe is back! :) Thank you for your answers. Best wishes ...

P.S.: I'm still confused, as the doc mentions a way, to configure monitor mode through the Wireshark-GUI directly, w/o the usage of the Wlanhelper ...

I think the documentation is wrong. It has been my experience that you need to use WlanHelper.exe first before Wireshark will allow you to select monitor mode for the interface.
