Via cmd on Windows 10 I successfully sent some emails via telnet. I'd like to see the SMTP protocol and all other corresponding protocols in wireshark, the input and output traffic of telnet. Other traffic I would like to filter out.

Kind regards, Roobiks

The fact that you used a telnet client to send and receive SMTP messages is irrelevant. To see only the SMTP traffic simply filter on the server port used, probably 25, e.g.

  • Capture - port 25
  • Display - tcp.port == 25
