Capturing traffic from device not supporting wifi router radio type
My wifi router only supports 802.11n, my device supports 802.11ac. If the router and device support two different radio types, will Wireshark still capture traffic from the device that supports 802.11ac?
Do you really mean, as suggested by the title of the question, that your device supports 11ac but doesn't support 11n? That seems unlikely - as far as I know, most Wi-Fi-capable hardware supports all older PHYs that use frequency bands that the hardware supports, so 11ac devices also support 11n, for example.
