Hi there.

For some very unknow reason Wireshark is using nonstandard IEEE names on fields nd Information elements calling them TAGs. The correct name is IE information elements and IF information fields. Most other tools uses the correvt term. I do not know why Wireshark developer are using invented terms.

And a much more serious issue. Later versions of Wireshark also add information coming from the Physical Header of the 802.11 protocol. se example below. An there are other tisng strange in teh WIFI decoder. A-MPDU aggregate ID: 583 [Duration: 40ms] Confusing term used here. And how is this calculated? Duration means something else in the IEEE 802.11 STD.

[Preamble: 20ms] [IFS: 2489ms] IFS is maeaning somting totally diofferent i the 802,11 STD Stupid name [Start: 49515891ms] What are those numbers coming from. [End: 49515931ms]

I suggest that Wireshark developers consult with IEEE 802.11 experts.
