Suggestion for wireshark enhancement?
Hi,
I've a suggestion to improve Wireshark.
Idea is that Wireshark is able to reference a list of IP, MAC addresses etc and than highlight any addresses that match the referenced user list. An example might be a blacklist of banned IP's or a whitelist of customer IP's. I'm sure many other users would find this facility useful.
The list could be in the form of CIDR addresses and comments..eg 192.168.0.0/16, blacklisted 192.168.2.0/24, customer of ABC Ltd
Any thoughts?

Isn't this already covered by filtering in general and color filters specifically as they can be named?

That certainly works for a low number of ip addresses, but in my case I've list of several thousand addresses. It'd be really helpful to be able store these addresses in a text file, then import them in to wireshark
