can more than one network interface be used

When using wireshark on a network sniffer device, if I have multiple ethernet cables plugged into one laptop will wireshark be able to work on both simultaneously?

Yes, just open "Capture -> Options", select all the interfaces you want to capture on and then click 'OK'

Yes. Select all the interfaces required, add any capture filter you need and start the capture.
