I have packet capture of 5G UE Registration. The capture contains NGAP protocol messages. But the messages can not be seen as wireshark can not decode it. Please help me out to see the messages.

You must be using a development version of Wireshark to see NGAP messages. How much of the frame is dissected? If it stops at SCTP you may have to use decode as and select NGAP. The top of trunk NGAP decoded is based on version 1.0.0 from 3GPP and will only dissect that version correctly. If you can post your trace somewhere we can have a look at it.

Hi Anders, is NGAP decoding supported in the latest stable version (2.6.4)? If not, where can I find a development build with NGAP support? I've tried 2.5.1, but couldn't find NGAP under the list of protocols. Thanks!

It's only in the development version 2.9.x https://www.wireshark.org/download/au...
