Wireshark dependency on minimum/specific npcap/winpcap versions?

Wanted to check if any given version of Wireshark has a dependency on a minimum (or specific) version of npcap or winpcap to work and/or run?

Or whether it's more independent where as long as you you have a version of Winpcap, or rather Npcap, that meets the needs of the particular features you want to use in Wireshark then it is all good?

Or don't need to worry in the sense that as long as you have recent versions of Wireshark that bundle and work with Npcap, that if you use the latest version of Npcap, for whatever version of Wireshark, Wireshark should just work?

Winpcap is dead, although Wireshark is able to use it if it's the only capture library available, this isn't recommended.

Wireshark uses the libpcap API so theoretically any capture application that presents the same API would be usable.

The Wireshark installer lags a little behind the latest npcap release due to different release cycles and having add issues with npcap bugs. However I often run latest stable Wireshark with the latest npcap and have generally been OK.
