How can I set the 30ms latency only on the outgoing traffic?

Hi Network Gurus,

I was trying to set the 30ms latency on the target host and wanted to verify with the ping? Let say I have two machine - machineA and machineB

On machineA -- I added 30ms using tc and created egress rule using IFB and when I tried to check the latency only on the egress using tshark pcap I don't see the option which clarifies that this much delay happened during incoming and this much on outgoing of packet.
