Even with "Don't Load Interfaces at Startup" checked it still seems to try and find the local interfaces. For some reason that has a 25-50% chance or rebooting my work laptop (nothing like lackluster Windows 10 drivers). Is there a command line option or some other way force Wireshark to skip the local interfaces entirely? I'm only using it to review packet captures taken from other systems. Using Wireshark 4.0.8.
