Dissection of BLE audio services and profiles

Are there are any plans for implementing dissectors of the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) audio services and profiles? In particular, is the dissector development of these profiles and services in progress by the Wireshark core developers? Or is the development of these dissectors planned for any upcoming Wireshark build?

Or is the expectation that these dissectors will be contributed by other developers to Wireshark over time? Any details on how this works would be much appreciated. Thank you!

No, there are no plans for implementing dissectors.

Any dissectors.

As Wireshark's non-crowdsourced FAQ (as opposed to the crowdsourced FAQ that the Wireshark Q&A site is) says:

Are there any plans to support {your favorite protocol}?

Support for particular protocols is added to Wireshark as a result of people contributing that support; no formal plans for adding support for particular protocols in particular future releases exist.

so don't look for plans; Wireshark is a volunteer project, like many free-software projects, and if nobody volunteers, it doesn't happen.

Or is the expectation that these dissectors will be contributed by other developers to Wireshark over time?

The expectation is that, if somebody needs such a dissector, they'll write it and, hopefully, contribute it to Wireshark, so that it will show up in a future release.
