I am using Wireshark for packet capture with SQL Server 2022, TLS 1.3 and TDS 8.0. TDS 8.0 is not listed as a Protocol Type in Wireshark 4.0.6; the maximum protocol type is 7.4 (menu path: Edit >> Preferences... >> Protocols >> TDS >> TDS Protocol Type).

Support for particular protocols is added to Wireshark as a result of people contributing that support; no formal plans for adding support for particular protocols in particular future releases exist.
Here is the work to make the upgrade to 7.4:
11603: Update TDS dissector to latest version of the protocol
Please open a new issue (with sample pcap) requesting the upgrade to 8.0.
If/when someone gets around to working on it they will need the pcap (and perhaps your help testing).
Enhancement requests can be added by opening a New Issue at Wireshark Issues on GitLab.
