Ghost packets?
I'm trying to capture outgoing data from my solar panel inverter.
My router gives me the inverter's ip and mac addresses but when I filter for either of those in Wireshark all I see is ARP announcements.
I know it's sending data (a good chunk), at least every five minutes but I can't find it.
What else should I be looking for?
You may want to verify your capture setup first, in particular Capturing on Ethernet Networks or Capturing on 802.11 Wireless Networks, as I'm guessing one of these is most likely applicable to your setup.
