wireshark 4.0 does not support rocky8 ? I tried to build wireshark 4.0 on rocky8 ,but it was failed. but I build wireshark 4.0 successfully on rocky9.

Not too familiar with that distribution. How did you setup the build environment? Used tools/rpm-setup.sh?

If you include errors then the likelyhood of a solution improves dramatically.
