how do I use mmdb (maxmind databases)?

After downloading the databases and enabling these in the preferences, I restart wireshark. In the conversation endpoint features, the new columns for geo-ip always exist but never collect any info. They are blank. How do I get wireshark to actually display this info?

You can use mmdbresolve to verify there are entries in the database to match the addresses.
