Hi WireShark

We are experiencing problems with Konica Minolta C454e shared Copiers freezing programs, when chosen in the print dialog on clients.

We have a lot of other brands and even Konica Minolta models where this is not a problem.

The client and server is separated as such:

Client <> ASA <> FortiGate Firewall <> ASA <> Windows Server 2022 Print server

Link to IMGUR album with two pictures

As you can see if you look at the IMGUR album:

  • When successfully querying another Konica Minolta model on the same print server and the program doesn't freeze, you get a very small capture
  • When querying the C454e on the print server you get a big capture with a lot of errors and dcerpc lines in it

As you can see there is a lot of DCERPC protocol connections and even more error entries with the following messages: [TCP Previous segment not captured], [TCP Out-Of-Order], [TCP Dup ACK] and a bit of [TCP Retransmission] and [TCP spurious Retransmission sprinkled in between.

Mostly [TCP Previous segment not captured] and [TCP Out-Of-Order] spread down throughout the entire capture.

I am a admittedly at a bit of a loss trying to decipher the capture and am hoping for someone more knowledgeable to lend me their wisdom.

Thank you
