Research on dup acks / retransmissions

Hi all

Our environment has quite a bit of dup ACKs and TCP retransmissions and I'm currently not understanding what the cause of this could be.

What I do notice is a 1% packet loss when pinging Google DNS (in about 2500 sent packets). Could that explain the wireshark output?
