SIP Authorization Users screen

Hi, does anyone here knows whats is it for? I have this Wireshark screen about SIP protocol configure with some users, realm and password. I know about the digest process, the www-authentication and RCF about it, but I configure some users/realm/passwords, but I do not know what is it used for, where can I check some values, I've got some captures about the REGISTER process, or INVITE authenticated process, but I do not know where to check if the the Wireshark checks the hashes, or something like that.

Can some help me?

Have you noticed the 'Validate SIP authorisation' checkbox above the 'Edit' button 'SIP authorisation users'? The validation function can only work if you provide the credentials of the SIP users, so that is what that dialog is for.

Yes, thank you very much for your reply. I already checked that box, and suplied informations about the username/realm and password on SIP Auth user screen, but I do not know where to find any information about the validation if it was successfull of not (I have the messages, but I would expect a metadata or something like that).

Also looked at expert info, checked other headers, but the wireshark is not validating anything with the informations I suplied.

Unfortunlly I cannot attach files yet, but I have the username/realm/password configured on that screen, and the checkbox is set, but where is the information of the validation ?

Currently the SIP dissector only adds an expert item to tell when a check has failed. There's no indication when the check succeeded.
