I have been testing the 5G UE Route Selection Policy (URSP) and using Wireshark “Version 3.4.9 (v3.4.9-0-g365e236f5efe)” to decode the PCAP collected on the PCF.

On the { 0x91, "Destination FQDN" } is listed under const value_string nas_5gs_ursp_traff_desc_component_type_values[], however, as function de_nas_5gs_ursp_traff_desc() is not yet implementing its usage.

Do you know in what version of Wireshark this functionality will be available?

Regards, JJ

Odd place to reference Wireshark source files. The canonical location is the Wireshark GitLab instance, the latest master file for this dissector is here.

Thank you @grahamb. The GitLab shows the same code and handling for { 0x91, "Destination FQDN" } is not yet implemented. Is work being done to have this implemented in the next Wireshark version?

There is no plan as such for any modifications to dissectors in Wireshark, if someone with the skills and motivation and access to the protocol specification and test captures can find the time, then it might be done.

The best thing to do is raise it as an issue for an enhancement at GitLab so it's visible for all to see. Please attach a capture with the protocol elements in question.
