Hi Guys,

I have HP switch and no one knows its IP or logon details.

I assume that are only 2 vlans on this switch ...

Can I plug into a port and see via wireshark what is the vlan ID from the packets ?

Thanks

Switches will send VLAN information on a port that is configured as a 802.1q trunk. If the switch is secured, it won't advertise any information about itself.

Most likely not. Either accept the switch is unmanaged as-is or do a factory reset and configure the switch as needed. But that is not the scope of this website.
