Need help with conversations

Hi,

i need a bit of help. I'm still working on my iolink plugin c dissector and i want to make some improvements. I want to add some conversations but i don't have any address ports for iolink.

My idea:

I have a master control byte which is sent at the beginning of every frame. The master control byte contains the following bits -> |r/w (7)| |communication channel (6,5)| |address (4-0)| (the address bits are just for one channel) I have four values for the communication channel, could i use each value of that to create a new conversation? would that be possible?
