Seek Wireshark Expert To Write Dissector/Decode Protocol
We have a project where we need to dissect and decode a high speed data bus on an Ethernet stream. We have recorded four Wireshark streams and have recorded actions with known values.
Are you looking for someone to write a new protocol decoder? Then getting information about the protocol definition is the better. Capture file shoud just support that information.
Or are you looking for someone to just understand what you have captured?
Hugo, I am not sure I understand your question. I am looking to be able to read the data captured both as it has been stored and then live in an ongoing setting. So getting a protocol definition is what we need and our hope is to derive that from the data captured. I have been told we need to dissect (via a program) the data to find the values we know of and reverse engineer to develop the protocol. i am available to discuss if you have an interest in this project.
