In the packet byte pane, the ARP request is followed by 18 zero bytes (0000 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ). What the reason for the existence of these 0s?

If you click on any byte in the packet bytes pane, then you should see the corresponding field selected in the packet details pane, in this case it will likely be "Padding" in the Ethernet protocol.
