Is it possible to install LUA plugins as part of a Wireshark installer

I wish to produce a Wireshark installer that includes various LUA plugins (so the end user doesn't have to manualyl install them). While I can find instructions on how to add C based plugins to the build/install, I haven't found anything that explains this for either the NSIS Windows installer or the Linux packaging. Is there an easy way to do this? (ideally for both Windows and Linux)
