PC Windows 10 with Cisco AnyConnect.

Once my laptop has received its IP address and lets say the lease is 1 hour. If I were capturing packets on my laptop and saw on the DHCP server that my laptops expiration time was moved out shouldn't I have some DHCP related packets on my PC's capture?

Thanks,

One would expect to see DHCP packets in that case to renew the lease. What capture filters, if any, where you using?

VPN's, such as AnyConnect, have been know to interfere with packet capture. What's your Wireshark version, please copy the text from the Wireshark -> Help -> About Wireshark. Wireshark tab and paste here.

I'm using version 3.2.6. I tried DHCP for a filter and looking for anything UDP with port 67 or 68. None of those filters returned anything.

Can you copy the text from the Wireshark -> Help -> About Wireshark. Wireshark tab and paste here? This also has other useful information about your environment.
