Wireshark doesn't show TCP UDP detail

I am trying to diagnose a network problem on my company's MacBook. However, all the captured packets are just showing up as "Ethernet (1)" not "TCP" or "UDP". What would cause this? Can I fix it?

Are your dissectors enabled? Check Analyze -> Enabled Protocols and be sure the TCP and UDP dissectors are checked. If you want to, you can choose the Enable All button on the lower-left corner and then hit OK.

Glad it was an easy fix for you. And unless you explicitly disabled those dissectors yourself, which seems doubtful, you may have been a victim of a practical joke.

It's possible I did that but I don't remember it. I may have just enabled TCP UDP for some reason. I didn't bother scrolling the whole list before enabling everything. I am at home by myself and I'm certain she didn't play that practical joke on me. It's possible that the MacPorts version of Wireshark is configured like this.
