I can't see the interfaces of my computer

Hi, I am seeing 6 interfaces, CISco UDP, SSH but I can't see like eth0 or en0.. . Yesterday I was having the same problem but then I tried by opening and closing my Ubuntu 18.04 virtual machine and then some how it showed me the actual interfaces. Right now I can't do the capturing.image descriptionI cant attach the image so I am providing the link where you can see the image: Science Forum

Somebody please guide me.

Try running

sudo dpkg-reconfigure wireshark-common

on your machine. Answer <yes> to "Should non-superusers be able to capture packets?"

Thanks a lot. I installed another version and then ran as an administrator. After that I was able to see the interfaces and capture.

You should not do that. See herewhy and here an other answer how to address this properly.
