Capture traffic generated by a given device
I am trying to see the traffic between my Smart plug to the internet (its service). I have Wireshark install on my Laptop, also I enabled the promiscuous mode on the interface. But, all I see when I captured traffic for an hour, the Smart plug (10.0.0.233) is sending packet to my Laptop (10.0.0.118) as you can see in the attached pic. This is probably broadcast packets. but I don't see the actual traffic being sent to Smart plug service (As what we see when the browser is connected to example.com, the source will be my laptop, and the destination will be example.com Right!!). I want to see that when my Smart plug is connected to its service OR automation platform (IFTTT)). I don't know what I am missing here.
