Wireshark not running on my PC

Hi there, I have successfully installed Wireshark but it will not run on my PC, i get error " the Application was unbale to start correctly (0xc000007b)....

Please advise

This usually happens when you install 64 bit version of wireshark into a 32bit Operating system or vice versa. Also make sure you have admin rights to run wireshark.exe.

You do NOT need admin rights to run Wireshark and you should NEVER run Wireshark as admin except on isolated systems where you don't care at all about security.

See the wiki page on Security in particular the section on why admin (or root) account is not required.
