Hello,

We have a few laptops in a lab and we are running a few tests. our project manager wanted a setup where we can use Wireshark to view multiple laptop's network connections from one main computer. is there a way to do this?

How are the laptops connected to the network, wired or wireless?

The ones that will be tested will be wired to ensure utmost performance.

Depending on the required performance of such solution you can opt for a network switch with span port capability, or if high performance it required you can look into dedicated traffic recorders.

Thanks for your reply. Can you suggest how to get started with this? It wont be for heavy use. To explain it simply, we create a software that students use to do their semester testing. So right now, my Quality assurance team wants to view the network status of a few laptops running the test software at one time. So we will have about 4 different types of OS machines (windows, Mac, linux, etc) and have it run the software and we will record the network status of the devices to see if they drop, when did it occur or when does the software run into network issues, and so on.
