There is a dissector preference in the Uplink section called 'Ignore compression settings from C-plane', which will use the configured UL bitwidth and compression even when something else (usually 0:0) is signaled in the C-plane. The change to do this was merged 7th November 2025. I'm not sure if this is in 4.6 or not, I would normally direct people who don't build from source to download from https://www.wireshark.org/download/automated/win64/. Looking at it now, I will add 'UL to the preference label to make it more obvious.
Hope this helps, and that you were talking about U-plane in the uplink? I notice that the capture referenced by Chuck has some UL C-plane (for PRACH), but does not include the corresponding U-plane frames..
