I've had this issue too, if you go to [c:]\users[your user]\AppData\Roaming\Wireshark\ There delete "recent" and "recent_common" files and this will stop the error message coming up everytime you launch remote interfaces. I've had to do this everytime after I use Wireshark. Sorry if this effects anything else, I've not tested it thoughly but it works for my needs.

There delete "recent" and "recent_common" files and this will stop the error message coming up everytime you launch remote interfaces. I've had to do this everytime after I use Wireshark.
