Can I call any other program/executable (say ABC) from wireshark source code? To be explicit, ABC is not a library to be linked with wireshark. It is a program/executable which is called/instantiated from wireshark source code.
1) Can I call any other open source free program/executable from wireshark source code? What are the license conditions for this case?
2) Can I call any other proprietary program/executable from wireshark source code? If yes, does it require to have the source code of this proprietary program/executable be released under GPLv2?
