WS 3.0.1 recently began giving error message on start: 'stopped processing module RFC1213-MIB. Re-installing had no effect OSX 10.14.4 on MBP Anybody else have that, or any thought? TIA

In the preferences select Name Resolution and set the checkmark on Suppress SMI errors. Then restart Wireshark.

But is this not just a workaround? The message says "stopped processing...".

Would suppressing SMI errors let processing the RFC1213-MIB module continue?
The MIB is question is almost 30 years old. This error has been reported and popping up since 2006. I understand it's freeware and nobody owes anything to anybody - but still, is there a reason this problem is not fixed in more than 10 years?
